The annual planning cycle employed by MSU-IIT consists of eight steps. The strategic plan, which is anchored on the Institute’s vision, mission, and goals, serves as the basis for action plans. At the end of each year, evaluation results provide inputs for fine-tuning the strategic plan.
Annually, a Work and Financial Plan is made.
The Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology commits to provide quality education recognized nationally and internationally through relevant programs in instruction, research and innovation, and social engagement. It shall exceed the service quality expectations of its internal and external clients through excellence, commitment, teamwork, accountability, integrity, transparency, and participation while upholding international, national and local regulatory and other legal requirements. In realizing all these, MSU-IIT shall endeavor to ensure that the Quality Management System anchored on the ISO 9001:2015 Standards is communicated, monitored, evaluated, and improved continually.
In 2019, a College Direction Setting was undertaken that served as the end of Prof. Marie Joy D. Banawa's deanship and the start of Prof. Rohane M. Derogongan's term of office.
The Direction Setting identified curriculum plans, faculty development plans, and quality assurance plans amongst others.
The CASS Mission as well as goals were revisited and unanimously decided to be maintained.
Pursuant to University Planning Process, the College makes its Work and Financial Plan crafted from commitments and targets set by the departments.
